Olympia Tree Team will be at Nisqually Meadows trimming trees on Wednesday, April 3rd, 2024.
They will begin at the main entrance around approx. 8:30-9:00am, then move to the second entrance and then the trees by the pond by 15048 105th Ave. While trimming is underway at the entrances, there will be limited access to Nisqually Meadows because the entrance they are working at will be closed off. After the HOA trees have been trimmed, Olympia Tree Team will then begin working on a list of trees that homeowners have requested to be trimmed. In some cases, the trimmers may trim trees that have not had any requests made because of the ease of trimming adjacent trees at the same time. This has been left up to the trimmer’s discretion. When trimming the Olympia Tree Team will be trimming trees with the objective to prevent interference with vehicles and pedestrians. They will also be removing any dead or hazardous branches.
As a courtesy we ask that you please provide access for the tree trimmers, by moving any cars that are parked underneath the trees while they perform their work, even if you did not request trimming, and please warn children playing in our neighborhood at this time, to keep a safe distance away from tree trimmers to avoid any potential accidents.
The wood chips generated from the tree trimmings will be dumped at the Nisqually Meadows community park and be made available to residents on a first come, first served basis. Please feel free to take as much as you need, but keep in mind there will be limited supply. If chips are available and you need some help, don’t hesitate to ask someone in the neighborhood to help you
